Le Petit Moustier is an old monastery, transformed into a simply decorated, and very cosy home. The walled-in courtyard offers both sun and shade, and has room for two different dining-tables. It is also possible to park a car inside the gates. The house has a roof terrace, with a view to the mountains.

On the ground floor or the house, a genuinly French living-room welcomes the guests. On this floor, there is also a double bedroom (two single beds put together), and a full bathroom. On the second floor, you will find the spacious master bedroom, with a queen size bed, and a view to the mountains. The next bedroom offers two single beds and an en-suite, full bathroom. A spiral staircase leads from the inner bedroom, up to the roof terrace (unfortunately without furniture).

True to its origine (this being an old monastery) the simple but functional kitchen is in a separate building, a couple of meters across the courtyard. An antique farmhouse dining-table seats six people or more.

Le Petit Moustier is situated in the heart of the medieval hilltop village of Haut de Cagnes, only a couple of minute´s from the lively "Place du Chateau" and the 13th century Grimaldi castle. Up here, a handful of the village´s 15 restaurants welcome you! And why not joing the locals for a game of boule? This is the place for it.

In Haut de Cagnes, a medieval hilltop village between Nice and Antibes. 12 min to the airport. 20 min walk to the beach, 5 min by car. 5 min walk to a covered, Provencal market, grocery stores, banks and post office in Cagnes sur Mer. 10 min by car to St Paul de Vence and the medieval city of Vence. 20 min to Nice, Cannes and Antibes. 30 min to Grasse and Italy. 17 golf courses in within 30 min drive. 1,5 hours drive to skiing.
