Le Perchoir is a cute and totally renovated 3-storey village house in the noble medieval village of Haut de Cagnes, between Nice and Cannes - only 12 minutes from Nice airport.

The house sits in a narrow street, leading down from the 13th century Grimaldi castle at the top of the hill. The balcony offers both a seaview and a view of the old village houses.

From the street, you enter into the combined living-room/kitchen, which also serves as a dining-room. The lovely Provencal kitchen - as well as all of the house - is fully renovated and well equipped. In this charming house, there is a little staircase here, and another one there. Walk up from the kitchen, and you will first get to a landing with the master bathroom, equipped with a tub, a shower, a wash basin and a toilet. Steps lead up to a loft with a double bed (low ceiling). Another set of stairs takes you up to the little living-room, which opens onto the balcony, with a view to the sea. Back in the kitchen, you walk down a short staircase to get to the master bedroom, and the open guestroom. The master bedroom sleeps two, while the walk-through guestroom can accomodate one person. On this floor, there is also a small bathroom with a shower and a wc.

In Haut de Cagnes, a medieval hilltop village between Nice and Antibes. 12 min to the airport. 20 min walk to the beach. 5 min to grocery stores, the daily market place, banks and post office in Cagnes sur Mer. 10 min by car to St Paul de Vence and the medieval city of Vence. 20 min to Nice, Cannes and Antibes. 30 min to Grasse and Italy. 17 golf courses within 30 min drive. 1,5 hours drive to skiing.
