Le Cadran Solaire is a paradise for art and book lovers, set in a superb 16th century stone farmhouse, in the medieval village of Haut de Cagnes. This enchanting stone cottage offers an elegant zen and cosy interior, with east-west antiques and original paintings, decorated by owners with diplomatic past. The ground floor offers a modern provencal fully equipped kitchen and a separate dining room, both with glass doors opening onto a covered pergola, large swimming pool, and barbecue area. Up the steps, on the right there are two double bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower, and a separate toilet. On the left, the living room, with double seating area, has a terrace facing a protected wood zone, offering a view of the mountains. Other features of comfort: private boule court, parking, internet access, high end stereo system, DVD, satellite TV with international channels on 42" HD screen, free international phone dialing to most European countries, the US and Canada. Supermarket and great bakery within five minutes walk down he steps.

In Haut de Cagnes, a medieval hilltop village between Nice and Antibes. 12 min to the airport. 20 min walk to the beach. 5 min to grocery stores, banks and post office in Cagnes sur Mer. 10 min by car to St Paul de Vence and the medieval city of Vence. 20 min to Nice, Cannes and Antibes. 30 min to Grasse and Italy. 17 golf courses in within 30 min drive. 1,5 hours drive to skiing.
